Week 1 of softball week results have been completed. We are still missing a few results for the Co-Ed B League. Mark will be reaching out to the coaches to try to get the results. It will always be a good ideal for the coaches to at least right down the score after each game just in case of discrepancies. Have a wonderful week 2.

As a reminder, our final Independent Church League (ICL) Softball 2017 meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, April 24th, 7:00 p.m. at PARAMOUNT CHRISTIAN CHURCH located at 3816 COLLEGE STREET SE in LACEY.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have more than one coach in your church PLEASE make sure and pass on this information. We are asking each of you help us get the word out to everyone.
If you plan on joining us for the 2017 season, this is our Team Registration meeting where your team fee and registration are required for each team. The 2017 team fee is $450.00 and softball team registration forms can be found on our web site at ICLSports.org. Team’s intending to register a team must attend this meeting, divisions will be determined after the conclusion of this meeting based on teams registered.

Also we needed to make some changes to the schedule due to courts conflicts. Check out the updated schedule at the bottom of this page https://www.iclsports.org/basketball/.
Remember the your final team rosters are in and complete. I have highlighted the forms so that no additional players can be added to the team. If your players name is not on the list he cannot play.
The forms will be attached with the scorebook. City Life, you still have 2 players that need signatures, Nick Sommers and Eddy Cecil. Please ensure they sign before the game.
I will be away for the next 2 Saturdays games but Keith Wiggs from CCC #2 will be responsible while I am gone. The scoreboard, clock, basketballs, scorebook, and dust mop will be in the closet for the refs prior to the games. Please put the items back in the cardboard box (except for the dust mop 🙂 after the 9 AM game.
Also make sure you right down the scores in the scorebook so that I can update the results when I get back.
We did have a bloody nose last week, thankfully it wasn’t a major injury. If anyone has any ice packs or first-aid kit you can donate for the rest of the season that would be great. Just leave it with the rest of the equipment and thank you in advance.

We had a great first week but noticed that shirt colors did cause some distraction and children were getting close to the playing court. For week 2 if your team does not have a uniform or team jersey, please bring a light and dark shirt so that we can make sure we don’t get confused on team colors.
So far we have these colors:
Emmanuel Bible – Red
City Life – Blue
CCC #1 – Black
CCC #2 – Red\White
As far as children, it’s a pretty small gym so please make sure the children stay away from the courts during game time. We would hate to accidentally run into them.
We will also coordinate a scoreboard and a dust mop for the courts prior to the games.

Remember that the season starts this weekend at Good Shepherd starting at 8-10am. Make sure you have your team roster form completed prior to your first game and if you have any players younger than 18, your waiver form is also required.

We just need at least one more team or a group of guys that we can combine together to make a team.
